Michael Harwell
Michael is a country singer and songwriter from South Texas. He grew up in a small town listening to country greats George Strait, Don Williams, Gary Stewart, and Jerry Jeff Walker to name a few. Mike has been singing ever since he heard John Anderson's song "Swingin" on the radio at age 6. After hearing that song he could not stop singing it and was hooked on country music. Now days he is still hooked and is writing and playing when he can. Michael loves Texas and the music that come out of Texas. He hopes to be apart of the Texas Music family for a long time. His first single titled "1993 " is getting airplay internationally. In Europe he reached #5 on the European Country Music Top 100 Major Charts. He has been receiving excellent reviews all over the world. In fact Mike has been nominated for an Airplay International Award. In addition to that his music has repeated chart success on the top 50 songs requested at www.radiofreetexas.org.
